How do I work?

My work background is in the area of Psychology and because of this, I believe we grow, change, and we don’t operate in a vacuum: there are so many things that make us who we are. We are complex and therefore one shopping trip is probably not going to make a dent in how we feel about our clothes, style and how we want to feel in what we are wear. Therefore I prefer to get to know my clients and to understand what they are hoping to achieve when working with me. We can then work together to consider what Personal stylist journey would work better for them.

But I don’t know what I need?? Or how much it will cost:

Yeah I get it!! When looking into Personal Stylists, it’s hard to think about what you need and at one point, I believed they were unobtainable and only for celebrities or the super rich!! But that is NOT TRUE!! Stylists can be affordable especially when thinking about how many items of clothing we don’t wear or buy in the pursuit of feeling and looking good. So if you are still with me and thinking that a Personal Stylist may be something for you, I suggest the following steps that may help with identifying your needs. I also offer a consultation session to help you work out what set package  would work for you and identify how we can make this individualised to your needs. So if you are still thinking about it have a think about the following:

STEP 1:

Ask yourself what you want to achieve:

  • Do you want help understanding what colours suit
  • Do you want to understand what your best features are and how to enhance them
  • Do you want help for a specific outfit, occasion
  • Do you need help with organising your wardrobe to work out what pieces are missing so you can be more targeted in your shopping
  • Do you want to gain more joy/build confidence in shopping
  • Do you feel lost, not sure where to start or just don’t have the energy to explore your style
  • Do you want to reinvent yourself
  • Does shopping fill you with dread and you could do with support to go shopping
  • Do you want shopping and picking out pieces to wear to feel more simple

STEP 2:

If your answer is yes to any of the of these, I can support you to achieve your goal!!!
